Full Time Positions:

The successful Engineer at DE Design Works enjoys working in a casual, collaborative team environment with other engineers and customers on a variety of product development projects which typically include custom hardware and software, wired and wireless communications technologies, control systems, and user interfaces. The team member is comfortable working independently and on multiple projects, balancing priorities, working in a product development environment focused on PCBA hardware, software, and quick turn prototyping that typically involves complex analog, power, high-speed digital circuits, and vertical software development from device to cloud. DE engineers are energized by hands-on troubleshooting, fail-fast learning, and continuous process improvement. This is a great opportunity to work with the latest technology and a world class team, bringing industrial commercial, medical, and military products to life.

Internships & Co-ops:

Our internship track provides interns with work place introduction and real-world experience in Industrial, Medical, Military, Robotics, and the design of various commercial products and custom equipment manufacturing. Our co-ops provide full-time employment for 6 months, gaining valuable work experience while also gaining credits through degree programs. Unlike typical internships and co-ops, qualified candidates will gain exposure to a wide variety of technologies, products, and customers rather than narrowly-focused tasks or summer research products. Typical roles include: 

  • GUI Programmer 
  • Application Software Developer 
  • Embedded Linux Developer 
  • Micro-Controller Embedded Firmware Developer 
  • PCB Hardware Designer 
  • Systems Engineer 
  • Industrial / Mechanical Engineering
