A Brief History of Past Product Experiences
At DE Design Works, our innovative engineering solutions have helped bridge the gap from concept to production. Below is a brief history of just a few of our past blue-chip product design experiences and collaborations.
We have engineered tailored IoT solutions from sensor monitoring to embedded gateway capabilities that seamlessly connect edge devices to cloud platforms, enabling efficient data transfer and remote monitoring for our clients with products already in the field.
For a leading industrial solutions provider, we developed an innovative LoRa leak detector system. This device tested up to 1 mile line-of-sight and over 1 year on a single battery charge.
In collaboration with a large power management company that designs products and services for the electrical, automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors, we helped bring to market a grid-connected home charging breaker for electric vehicles.
Working with the R&D team of a global pet nutrition CPG company, we engineered pet monitoring weighing and feeding devices with secure data stream access to their robust data science system, allowing them to achieve more precise and regularly timed data goals.
Partnering with a global motor technology leader, we helped develop a motion control platform, using their firmware algorithms, for automated guided vehicle (AGV) robotics. Designed to support motors up to 1000W, our small form-factor system provided multiple communication options – industrial protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN bus, CANopen, J1939, Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP.
Our foundational work on simplifying knobs-and-lever controls on fire trucks to ruggedize electronics control with industrial tablet compatibility led to a long-term relationship with a significant fire and rescue company and several other subsidiaries.
Often referred to internally as the “brain pump,” this ground-up development project for pioneering medical device startup utilizing ground-breaking intermittent suction technology to improve the “grip” on blood clots in ischemic stroke patients.
